Everything Henderson homeowners ask us about single-room paint jobs, pricing, and scheduling.
Yes — that's the entire business. Single rooms and small multi-room jobs aren't filler for us between bigger projects; they're the only projects we take. That's why we can schedule them fast and price them flat.
The price is set by the room type (bedroom, bathroom, office, living area) and whether you're keeping the current color or changing it. We quote that number over the phone or by message before we ever show up, and it doesn't change on site unless you change the scope.
A typical single room, yes: prep in the morning, paint through midday with dry time between coats, walkthrough and reset in the afternoon. Two or three rooms are usually still one day. Very large rooms, tall two-story walls, or heavy repair work can add a second day — we'll tell you that up front in the quote.
Quality Sherwin-Williams interior paint. Any color change gets two full coats as standard — one coat over a different color almost always ghosts through, and we don't leave rooms that way.
No. We shift furniture to the center of the room, cover it, mask the floors and fixtures, and put everything back where it was before we leave. You just need to clear small and fragile items off shelves and walls.
Nail holes, picture-hanger marks, small dings, and scuffs are patched and sanded before paint goes on. Floors, baseboards, ceilings, outlets, and fixtures are masked. In older homes — like the mid-century houses near the Water Street District — we budget additional prep time for settling cracks and layered old paint.
Yes. Bathrooms get moisture-resistant satin or semi-gloss finishes designed to handle daily shower steam, with extra attention to the ceiling above the shower where standard flat paint fails first. Details are on the Bedroom & Bathroom Refresh page.
Because every job on our calendar is small, the calendar turns over fast — most one- and two-room jobs are scheduled within days of the quote, anywhere in Henderson.
We're painters, not color consultants, but we'll gladly give practical input — which finish suits the room, how a color will read in Henderson's strong natural light, and whether a shade will show roller marks. A single room is also the perfect low-risk way to test a color before using it elsewhere.

No. Interior rooms only, by design. If your project is a full repaint or an exterior, we're not the right fit — but if it's one to a few rooms, nobody is set up better for it.
Call and ask — you'll get a straight answer and, if you want one, a flat per-room price on the same call.
